Inductoheat Banyard’s latest power supply
is a low frequency IGBT inverter which is digitally
controlled and optimised for multi-zone temperature
gradient billet heating.
The unit has a number of separate inverter sections,
which have individually controllable power control.
The DC section can be remotely mounted from the
inverter section for flexibility and floor space
saving.
The inverter has been designed so it has the capability
to run to as low as 30Hz. This has advantages in some
applications where increased penetration depth is required.
