Aluminium and Light Alloy Billet Heating
Induction heating offers many advantages over alternative forms of heating for Aluminium and light alloys prior to extrusion. It is widely accepted that taper heating (longitudinal temperature gradient) and isothermal extrusion yield productivity and quality gains. Only Inductoheat Banyard can provide the flexibility and accuracy demanded by modern extrusion companies.
Inductoheat Banyard equipment offers energy efficiency twice that of fuel fired systems, in addition to being more compact and environmentally beneficial both in global terms and for the operators.
Brass and Copper Alloy Billet Heating
Inductoheat Banyard's low frequency induction billet heaters are well suited to the rapid heating needed to reduce scale/oxidation normally associated with conventional heating methods. Rapid induction heating also reduces the burn-out of alloying elements such as Zinc, Cadmium etc.
